“A Week of Discovery: Training, Team Culture, and Innovation at TESCO’s Corporate Office”

Hello again! I’ve just returned from an inspiring week at TESCO Metering’s corporate headquarters in Bristol, PA, where I immersed myself in everything EVSE. Not only was I there to train on our EVSE Test equipment, but I also had the chance to connect with the team, attend our quarterly meeting, and see firsthand what makes TESCO such a remarkable place to work.

The Historic Charm of Grundy Mill

Our corporate office is set in the beautiful and historic Grundy Mill, a building that’s as iconic as it is inspiring. Its architecture echoes Bristol’s rich industrial past, grounding our mission in a location filled with character and history. Walking into work each day was a reminder of the lasting impact that industries—and companies like ours—can have on communities.

Meeting the TESCO Team and Experiencing Our Culture

One of the highlights of my week was meeting the passionate, talented team who make TESCO what it is. I attended our quarterly meeting, where I got a sense of the vibrant team culture that drives us forward. There’s a spirit of collaboration and support here that’s truly motivating—each person’s dedication to consumer safety, accuracy, and innovation shines through. It was clear to me that I’m now part of a team with shared values and a unified vision.

Hands-On Training with TESCO’s EVSE Test Equipment

This trip also marked my formal training on our EVSE Test equipment. I had the opportunity to tour the manufacturing facilities, meet the engineers and designers behind our products, and hear the stories of how each piece of equipment was developed. A personal highlight was my first demo practice on the T4350 and PL4150, which left me feeling even more excited about the value we bring to EVSE testing.

Why Test Equipment Matters: Consumer Protection and Compliance

Learning how TESCO’s equipment protects consumers and ensures compliance with evolving regulations was especially rewarding. Accuracy matters in EV charging—the stakes are high for fair billing, and our equipment is there to verify that consumers pay only for the power they receive. Our technology is the only NIST-approved solution on the market today, setting a benchmark in the industry for accuracy and reliability. Knowing that I’m part of a team at the forefront of these standards is both humbling and energizing.

Bonding with the Team: Dinner and Shared Experiences

Throughout the week, I enjoyed dinners and quality time with my new colleagues, building relationships that I know will be key to our shared success. It’s refreshing to be part of a company that values these connections and recognizes the power of a strong, cohesive team.

Exploring Philadelphia and Looking Ahead

On my last day, I took some time to explore downtown Philadelphia—a fantastic way to wrap up a week filled with learning and inspiration. I’m already looking forward to returning to Pennsylvania in January for our annual sales kick-off, where I know I’ll gain even more insights and continue my journey in EVSE product management.
