Track 1 – Introduction to Metering and the Metering Industry
This introductory track was designed for entry-level participants, offering a solid foundation in metering principles and power concepts. These classes complemented on-the-job metering skills and covered a wide range of topics, including power system overviews, basic math, AC and DC theory, meter testing safety, and all aspects of single-phase meters. This track prepared participants for advanced courses focused on polyphase meters.

Track 2: Introduction to Meter Testing in the Shop & Field and Transformer Rated Metering
This track provided participants with essential knowledge for understanding polyphase metering. It covered the selection, installation, and maintenance of polyphase meters, as well as the use and upkeep of current and voltage transformers. Participants gained practical skills and insights necessary for effective meter testing both in the shop and in the field.

Track 3: Advanced Metering
This track offered current and prospective TESCO equipment and software users the opportunity for direct training with the TESCO Engineering and Software team. Participants received comprehensive training on various TESCO equipment, including Meter Shop Test Equipment, Meter Site Field Test Equipment, Training Boards, and Safety Equipment. This hands-on training ensured users gained in-depth knowledge and practical skills to effectively utilize TESCO’s advanced metering solutions.

Track 6: Metrology and Calibration
A new addition to TESCOOL, this track combined theoretical and practical content to bridge the gap between concept and application. Participants explored essential topics in metrology and calibration through comprehensive classroom sessions. Additionally, this track included an exclusive tour of TESCO’s calibration lab, offering hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of modern metrology practices.
